Prince Lufadeju was a giant in the real estate sector, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of many.

As the BOT Chair of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) and former CEO of Shelter Afrique, his contributions to the industry are undeniable. His impressive career spanned multiple roles, including being the first Director of Planning at the Federal Ministry of Housing under President Shagari.

I’m grateful for the personal connection I shared with him, as he gave me my first job as a Town Planning Officer in 1982 and sent me to Ajaokuta in 1983. These experiences not only shaped my career but also instilled in me the values of hard work and dedication that Prince Lufadeju embodied.

Prince Lufadeju’s legacy extends far beyond his professional accomplishments. He was a “lover of humanity,” always putting the needs of others before his own. His impact on the planning profession and REDAN will surely be remembered, and his contributions to the real estate sector will continue to inspire future generations.

Rest in peace, Prince Lufadeju. Your memory and legacy will live on in our hearts.
