Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, FCT Minister of State took out time to condole with the flood victims of Koton-Karfe, as she extends medical outreach to the people affected by the ravaging flood.
She stated that the visit could have taken place before now, but due to the recent critical situation that affected the nation, had to put the visit on a break.
However the Minister commended the people of Koton Karfe for being law abiding despite the predicament.
Aliyu guaranteed residents of the communities that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari would not allow the country to loss focus in the path of progress and development. Identification of few items donated, were 1000 bag of rice (10kg), 1000 bag of corn, 100 pieces of fishing nets and 100 pieces of mosquito nets.
The Royal Majesty, (HRM) Ohimegye Igu of Koton Karfe, applauded the minister for her service of humanity to the people, which she has always done even before her appointment as minister. He went further to assure her, that after consultation with the council of chiefs, a title will be conferred on her as a sign of appreciation for her numerous good deeds.
