Business models in the housing sector relied on technology to improve demand and supply — Arch. Dangiwa

It was another eventful day at the Abuja International Housing Show in Abuja where the MD/CEO of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, in his presentation, made a speech on Affordable Housing Delivery in Nigeria, also, highlighting FMBN milestones.

While making his presentation, Dangiwa also spoke on the lessons learnt from the Covid-19 pandemic for an emerging economy like Nigeria and highlighting on technology and innovations which he said became critical to housing delivery, he added that business models in the sector relied more on technology in the areas of technology -integrated homes with smart systems (energy efficiency), property technology to improve the interconnectivity of housing demand and supply market place.

He further said that the FMBN has embarked on the adoption of a core banking solution to fully automate business processes and customer service delivery in line with 21st century financial services provision.
