Alhaji Yakubu Ibrahim Ndatsu, the Etsu of Yaba chiefdom, has commended FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his infrastructure initiatives but has urged him to prioritize the completion of the Yaba-Gurdi road project, which remains abandoned.
During a conversation with the media, Alhaji Yakubu noted that the project was initially awarded under the former FCT minister, Mohammed Musa Bello. While a portion of the road from Yaba junction to Yaba Secondary School was completed over a year ago, the remaining section from the school to Gurdi has not been addressed.
The Etsu’s appeal highlights the need for continued investment in local infrastructure to improve connectivity and support community development.
