Indigenous estate developer, Eximia Realty Ltd, has partnered Trio Nominees Ltd to launch one of the newest estate projects in the Katampe Extension area of Abuja, called The Mews.

The estate which sits on a 3,800 square-metre land comprises eight units of terraces and one flat. Each of the terraces has a four-bedroom flat and a boys-quarter (BQ) with generous green areas and massive car park spaces.

Speaking at the official unveiling of the estate, the CEO of Eximia Realty Ltd., Mr. Hakeem Ogunniran, described The Mews as a very simple and affordable project. Mr. Ogunniran said, “Our desire was to create something unique in Katampe Extension.

It has taken us about two and half years to finish this project. We are happy today because all the happenings in the economy at a stage almost affected the project, but we were able to pull through. Fortunately, we do not owe a kobo on this project.”

He further said the estate had so far enjoyed over 50 per cent subscription with about four of the nine units available for sell.

The Managing Director of Fortuna Engineering Ltd., builders of the estate, Mr. Banji Ayoola, said quality was topmost priority which informed the decision to import materials for the finishing of the estate.
Mr. Ayoola said, “The windows are high quality with multi-lock Israeli doors. All the tiles; from the wall to the floors, were imported from Spain. The kitchen facilities are high quality with marble tops.” He said each of the terraces in the estate was made up of “two rooms, one guest room on the ground floor and a BQ.

On the first floor we have the family lounge and two bedrooms, and on the last floor you have a massive master bedroom that comes with a Jacuzzi. All the rooms are ensuite.” Mr. Ayoola further said the idea was to create a luxury living without leaving a hole in the pocket of buyers. He added that, “The size of the land is about 3,800 square metres, but we just utilised about 30 per cent for development. 70 per cent was used for green area and car park. We have three slots per unit; making about 27 car parks. We have a generator and security in the gate house and maintenance; all ensuite.” Daily Trust
