By Aliyu Wammako
“Goodbye, my dear BOT Chairman. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
These words from Wammako, former President of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), capture the profound loss felt by all who had the privilege to work with Prince Seyi Lufadeju.
“I always remember the words of advice I got from you during my tenure as President of REDAN. You were my BOT Chairman throughout my tenure, and we worked tremendously well together in good faith for the progress of REDAN,”
I will never forget your “fatherly advice” and your immense wealth of experience, which were invaluable throughout our tenure together in REDAN as both President and BOT Chairman respectively. “I followed your guidance because of your vast knowledge in real estate, especially as the Managing Director of Shelter Afrique and a fellow of the Town Planning Institute.”
“As a stakeholder in the built industry, we will miss your wisdom, your fatherly advice, and your incredible experience. You were a pillar of strength, and your impact will not be forgotten,” he said.
“We hope the Almighty will grant you rest in your grave. Farewell, Prince Seyi Lufadeju. Farewell, sir.”
