According to reports, fires broke out at the Registry Unit of the University of Calabar. People were seen pleading with the fire department in a video that Facebook user Ita Bassey posted.
In the video, other people could also be seen attempting to salvage what was remained of the burned-out structure.
They were calling out for the fire department to come to their aid. yelling
