The Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria [FMBN] recently commissioned one of the 14 pilot sites under the first phase of the National Affordable Housing Delivery Project in Nsukka, Enugu State.
The 100-unit housing estate in collaboration with labor unions, comprise of 40 units of 3-bedroom semi-detached, 40 units of 2-bedroom semi-detached, and 20-units of 1-bedroom semi-detached bungalows. Beneficiaries of NHF Mortgage loans in the State received keys to their new homes at the event.

The Managing Director of FMBN, Arc. Ahmed Dangiwa said that under the National Affordable Housing Delivery Program, the body has partnered with labor unions that include the Nigerian Labour Congress [NLC], Trade Union Congress [TUC] and NECA – to design and deliver quality, decent and affordable housing that can match their income profiles.
