Salamatu Ahmed is a Level 9 Administrative Officer with the Citizenship and Leadership Training Center in Abuja. She became an NHF contributor after gaining employment into the Service. Salamatu is now a proud owner of a three bedroom fully-detached apartment at the Woodhill Estate in Kuje, a fast-rising suburb in the Federal Capital Territory.  In her words, “it is a dream come true. I am now a landlady and I don’t have to worry about landlords or problematic neighbors and co-tenants. There’s peace of mind here. It’s an amazing feeling”.  All she had to do was become a contributor to the NHF scheme and join a Cooperative Society, while the FMBN took care of the rest. “After I paid my equity, the FMBN paid the rest for me, and they would be deducting it from my salary till I retire, and it won’t affect me”.
