The Kano State Advisory Committee on Participation of Civil Servants in the National Housing Fund (NHF) Scheme met with the Executive Management of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria last week at the Bank’s Headquarters. Thedelegation was led by the Managing Director/Chief Executive, Shehu Usman Osidi. The eight-member Kano State team, under the supervision of Dr. Suleiman Wali Sani, Special Adviser to the Governor on government Service Matters, paid a visit to the Bank to discuss with its management Kano State government personnel’ involvement in the NHF Scheme. Comrade Kabiru Inuwa, the Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Kano Chapter, was also a member of the team.
Following productive discussions, the Kano delegation returned home with the express objective of persuading all Kano State government employees to sign up for the NHF Scheme in order to benefit from the perks that are awarded to contributors.
