As part of its ongoing initiative for the provision of affordable housing for Nigerians, the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria [FMBN] has made available opportunities for those who live and work in Adamawa state and contributors to the National Housing Fund (Scheme) to be proud owners of one of the 40 units of houses at the FMBN estate, behind Shagari Quarters, Yola. The housing scheme is on a rent-to-own basis.
The estate comprises 1-bedroom bungalow, 2-bedroom semi-detached bungalows and 3-bedroom semi-detached bungalows priced at N3.4M, N6.8M and N7.5M, respectively.
The FMBN Rent-to- own allows an eligible contributor to the NHF scheme to move into an FMBN-owned housing property as a tenant and conveniently pay towards ownership of the property. Payments could be made in monthly or annual instalments over periods as long as 30 years at an interest rate of 7 percent.
