The Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), Madu Hamman while hosting a delegation of the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC), led by its Coordinator, Umar Shuaibu last Tuesday at its corporate headquarters in the Nigerian capital, said the bank would support the efforts of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) and the AMMC to provide affordable housing for staff.
The visit was in respect to AMMC’s request for the Bank’s Cooperative Housing Development Loan (CHDL) that will enable the developing of a planned Staff Housing Estate in Wasa District, Abuja.
The estate situated on 4.2 hectares, is designed to provide decent, quality, and affordable accommodation for members of the AMMC Cooperative Society.
Mr. Hamman acknowledged that supporting FCDA/AMMC’s housing plan for its staff aligns with the Bank’s mandate to increase access to housing for Nigerians.
