In recognition of some historic achievements of the current management of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria [FMBN], led by its Managing Director, Arch. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, the body was last week honoured with an award for Impactful Housing Institution by the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management [ISM], at its Induction Awards Day in Abuja.
According to organizers of the award, it was meant to ensure that more Nigerians that contribute to the National Housing Fund (NHF) Scheme are able to get affordable housing loans to own their dream homes.

Construction Artisans Awards [CAA] honors artisans
While speaking at the event, the MD/CEO, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, represented by the Group Head, Corporate Communications, Lawal Isa K. Sauri, he thanked the Management of the ISM for the award and reiterated FMBN’s commitment to doing more in line with its mandate to provide affordable housing to Nigerians.
He also highlighted some key achievements of the FMBN within the past four years since the assumption of office which include disbursement of over N130bn in housing loans, financing construction of 9,540 housing units, origination of 5,985 mortgages and 63,079 home renovation loans to Nigerian workers.
