CEO Posh Hauzes multi concept limited, Hajiya Hauwa Yusuf Zubair, while speaking to Viewpoint Housing News in an interview, she gave reasons why the master plan of most states need to be updated and encouraged developers to patronize Nigeriaβs locally made products when constructing or building properties.
Viewpoint: What specifically is the aim of Posh Hauzes multi concept limited?
Zubair: It is an outstanding Contemporary real estate development company based in Abuja. Delivering luxury homes without conceding quality, thereby bridging the housing gap between the elite and low income earners by building affordable houses and providing flexible payment plan to cater for the rising population and housing deficit in Nigeria.
Viewpoint: Is Posh Hauzes multi concept Ltd into the construction of affordable housing?
Zubair: For now, we are centered on only affordable housing but along the line we will touch all areas.
Viewpoint: How long have you been in business?
Zubair: Accumulated experience in the housing sector is about 10 years but in the real estate sector I will say about 3 years.
Viewpoint: As a real estate company, do you think that the present administration is doing enough in land planning?
Zubair: I will say no because looking at some states you will observe that, there are no master plans. Using Abuja as an example in particular, the master plan is not implemented effectively. I suggest that the government should update the master plan for all states, looking at the resettlement of some local communities you will see that the government has not really done enough when it comes to allocation.
Viewpoint: How affordable are your properties?
Zubair: Affordability is relative, for the fact that we are targeting low income earners. Talking about prices of our properties, the location of any particular property has a lot to do when it comes to the price.
Viewpoint: As a real estate company, do you suggest that developers should patronize the made in Nigeria products when constructing?
Zubair: I patronize the made in Nigeria products like for instance the tiles we use in Nigeria are locally made here in Nigeria and they are perfect for construction so I advise that stakeholders should also patronize more of our locally made products
Viewpoint: In the past 3-4 years, how has business been?
Zubair: Business has been slightly successful because we have been able to deliver on our projects
Viewpoint: How many projects have Posh Hauzes multi concept limited been able to archive in the past 3years?
Zubair: We have been able to complete 3 projects and we are presently working on the 4th. Which can be located at life camp and Kaura district behind games village.
Viewpoint: Concerning the upcoming Dinner/award night holding tomorrow the 19th of December 2020, what should stakeholders be expecting from the company?
Zubair: Stakeholders should expect an atmosphere where every individual or company that has contributed to the success of Posh Hauzes will be appreciated and for our staff, it is that time of the year to take time off work for a while. It will also be a time for networking as we are expecting different people from various industries. Awards will be given basically to our stakeholders and our staffs.
Viewpoint: Do you have any goodwill message for your clients and partners?
Zubair: For those that are already part of us, we wish them to continue to enjoy the quality we have given and to those that will come on board we say to them, to come and have a feel of professionalism and enjoy good service of excellence in the field.
Viewpoint: In year 2021, what plans and intentions do you have for the real estate sector?
