An FCT magistrate court has ordered the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) to seal Jabi Lake Mall for violating the Covid -19 regulation 2020.
The action followed the judgment of a Magistrate Court sitting in Jabi and presided over by Magistrate Idayat Akonni.
Upon hearing an oral application by Umanah .U. Esq prosecution counsel for compliant prayed the court grant leave to seal off the defendants premises being Jabi lake mall for act of violation, being the use of the premises to violate the dusk to dawn curfew and total ban on social gathering as a measure to control the spread of the covid -19 pandemic in the territory.
The authorities said the concert breached the 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. curfew in the territory, the premises of jabi lake mall Abuja be sealed off for a period of two weeks.
