Lagos State Commissioner for Housing Hon. Moruf Akinderu-Fatai has reaffirmed his ministry’s commitment to actualize its aim of providing affordable housing for the people before the end of the second quarter of 2022.
He said the ministry is working tirelessly in making sure it becomes a reality.

“We have the mandate of Mr. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to deliver more houses to Lagosians in line with his THEMES agenda of his administration, he said.
The Independent reported that according to the Commissioner, the Governor since his assumption of office, has taken the issue of the provision of affordable housing for Lagosians as one of his key developmental project’s, hence the construction and commissioning of several housing units in the five divisions of the state.
The Commissioner while noting that in the last two and half years, the state government has built and commissioned different housing units in Ibeshe, Sangotedo, Ajah, Ikorodu, he pointed out that last year was full of activities for the ministry in terms of the number of houses built and commissioned by the Governor, adding that this year would see more housing units delivered to the populace of Lagos in different cadres.
