Abuja – February 25, 2024 – Viewpoint Housing News.

Lagos State is set to commence the construction of the first multipurpose Sports and Entertainment arena in Africa.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held near Palm Mall on Victoria Island with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the developers.

Managing Director of Persianas Group and pioneer of the 12,000-capacity arena, Tayo Amusan, says Nigeria will become a one-stop destination thanks to the arena.

He stated that Nigerian artists and creatives are the major motivation for the project.

Although the country faces economic challenges, Governor Sanwo-Olu says he believes that, it is still capable of being innovative and having a sense of togetherness to create such an ambitious project.
