– A Magazine, Development Agenda was presented to the Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, and copies donated to relevant departments, and French editions to the Department of French Language and Literature.
The presentation was made at the launch of a forest arboretum and tree planting campaign (The Green Campus Initiative) at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) last Thursday.
The magazine was presented by its Publisher and Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Paddy Ezeala.
The Registrar of the University, the Director-General of the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria (FRIN), Ibadan, Professor Zachariah Yaduma, and representatives of the National Park Service (NPS) and other government agencies were present at the occasion.
The magazine was described as a veritable tool in the fight against climate change and an effective partner in sustainable development efforts.
The forest arboretum is the brainchild of the renowned wildlife and natural resources conservation expert and scholar, Professor Edem Eniang of the university’s Department of Zoology.
