The spate of insecurity in the country has caused the entire nation sleepless nights over the years.
According to most security experts and analysts, curbing this menace cannot be handled by security personnel alone, but should be a joint effort of every citizen in the country.
Consequently, the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI) is not left behind as a driver for peace via collaboration with the government of Gombe State in providing conducive infrastructures and a conducive environment for the men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC).
To discuss the ongoing relationship between the state and NBRRI, on Wednesday 24th April, 2024 was filled with excitement and high hopes of progress when the North-East Zonal Coordinator of NBRRI, Baba Yarima played host to the Commandant of NSCDC, M. B Muazu at the NBRRI’s North-East Zonal Office, Gombe State.
In his address, Muazu commended the institute for its commitments towards realizing the dreams of many for a peaceful Nigeria as he appreciated the concern the institute is showing in areas of Security Architecture.
The Commandant assured the Institute of his maximum support and Commended the DG/CEO for having such team in the North-East Zonal office.
In a warm response, Baba Yarima commended the men of NSCDC on their roles in handling security issues and ensuring peace and stability in the country. He urged the men never to relent in their great efforts and reminded them that, the strive for peace in a society is a continuous battle.
He also gave the men the warm assurance of the DG/CEO of NBRRI, Engr. Prof. Samson Duna’s commitment to assisting the Corp in any way it could to support the fight for a peaceful society in the country.
