The Director-General of the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI), Engr. Prof Samson Duna in his quest to unravel the technical cause of the recent 21 building collapse in Ikoyi, Lagos State, has set up a technical committee comprising reputable professionals in the built and construction environment to carry out the assignment.

The committee members; include Bldr. Prof. Olumide Adenuga (Nigerian Institute of Building, NIOB) as the Committee’s Chairman, Dr. Olanade K. A (Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Lagos) Rep. COREN), Tpl. Moses Ofunleye (Nigerian Institute of Town Planners), Arc. Biola Akinola (Deputy Director, Architect Registration Council of Nigeria, ARCON) and Chief (Barr.) Simon Ademu Ameh (Head of Chambers, Ameh, Ameh and Co).
