Former President Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday commissioned the N705 million Sokoto State International Conference Centre.
In his remarks, Tambuwal said the centre was awarded by the immediate past government but that it was his government that funded it from foundation to the completion level.
Also speaking, Sultan Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar said the project ,came at a better time.
Earlier, the Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Abdullahi Maigwandu said the contract was awarded to Diamond Global Engineering Services Nig Ltd initially at the cost of N428million before the cost of the project increased to a total of N705million. Daily Trust
