According to reports, an unidentified elderly woman perished in a partial building collapse on Oloto Street near Borno Way, off Freeman Street, in the Oyingbo neighborhood.
The unidentified woman was struck by the building’s fall, which resulted in her instantaneous death.
The event occurred on Thursday at around 7.45 am, according to eyewitness Mr. Kehinde Adeboye. The elderly woman, who was reportedly in her early 80s, was killed. Relatives and other emergency personnel hurried to the location to offer assistance in resolving the crisis. There is no record of any other injuries from the regrettable occurrence, according to Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyitolu, Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, or LASEMA, who verified the casualty.
The agency got distress calls at around 8:30 in the morning, and the rescue squad showed up at approximately 8:42 in the morning, according to Oke-Osanyitolu.

“More details acquired at the scene of the disaster showed that the aging and poor maintenance of the construction caused an internal suspended beam in a room to fall at around 7:45 am.
“Unfortunately, the impact of the partial collapse claimed the life of an elderly woman.”
