It is no longer news that Nigeria has been battling to reduce the huge housing deficit it has faced over the years and till date. It is presumed that the housing deficit in Nigeria is more than 20 million, the country has gotten to this unacceptable state probably due to unorganized housing policies, insufficient funding and investment, lack of relevant technologies and inadequate maintenance and lack of committed work force in the housing sector.
Solutions to our housing problems lays not only with the government but, the private sector, including housing experts in the real estate sector. These experts are skilled with the technical know on what it requires to improve the housing conditions in the country. Views have been raised, suggestions have been made through seminars, conferences, housing workshops by public and private establishments.
What is expected of the government in this regard is to create a supporting/friendly environment to support the profession of these housing experts, developers to provide affordable housing for the masses. We have numerous private housing bodies, organizations due to passion for the profession are in the housing sector today to see to the development of the industry.

For this reason and Impact, Viewpoint Housing News Media came into existence in March 2018 which makes it 3years and counting, with its mission to deepen the discourse about provision of affordable housing and interrogate governments policies and actions in the housing sector. Viewpoint Housing Media Ltd is an organization that works for all stakeholders in the housing sector.
Its mission has been to disseminate most reliable and accurate news in the housing sector, which it has done for the past 3years.
Viewpoint Housing Media Ltd, are the publishers of Viewpoint Housing news which is an online platform www.viewpointhousingnews.com and also specializes in the production of special edition magazines. These special edition magazines are solely devoted to the aim of unfolding events in the housing / construction industry. Viewpoint Housing maiden magazine edition was published in August 2020 which featured the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) on the theme: understanding FMBN’s mortgage loan products. These special edition magazines are usually placed at all international and local airports around the country, well known hotels, restaurants and distributed to all ministries, embassies and state governors in the country.
Viewpoint Housing Media Ltd was founded by Mal. Ahmed Abubakar Goringo. Goringo, Chief Executive Officer of the company is an indigene of Nasarawa State, professionally an Architect / environmentalist. He holds the office of the National publicity secretary of the Real Estate Association of Nigeria (REDAN). Goringo founder and chairman of Hortigraph Nig Ltd known as an estate development /construction company.
