Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) is set to launch its much awaited estate data in Abuja.

The initiative called the National Real Estate Data Collation Management Programme (NRE-DCMP) was designed to provide relevant information on real estate in Nigeria.

Worried by the problems of the real estate sector in Nigeria, REDAN in 2015 embarked upon NRE-DCMP.

What this means is that REDAN will produce a property databank for Nigeria.

Lack of data has created a chain of problems. Therefore, collating real estate data across the spectrum will help Nigeria tackle problems associated with the real estate sub-sector.

A statement from the REDAN secretariat says the launch is part of the programme for the third REDAN Annual Expo.

The expo holds on 7–8 May 2019 at the Yar’adua centre Abuja.

There will be exhibitions, training and interactive sessions with Mr Femi Adewole MD Family Homes Fund, DG Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) and other resource persons.
