The Chairman of the Land reform task team of the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Honourable Minister of Housing and Urban Development Ahmed Dangiwa for giving Him the opportunity to embark on such an important assignment.
In his remarks at the inauguration of the task teams in Abuja, Rev. Chime thanked the President and the Minister on behalf of the National Land Reform Team and all four Sector Reform Teams for giving them the chance to carry out the enormously significant national assignment.
He added that, To ensure that land administration transactions are properly aligned with the goals of the nation’s socioeconomic growth, the most extensive evaluation, revitalization, and energization of land administration transaction dynamics has been embarked upon.
‘We are fortunate to have the opportunity to process our land assets to higher values rather than transacting them in their raw form, like our crude oil, thanks to the inclusive, innovative, and visionary drive currently underway to add value to our land asset as a nation through a series of initiatives, policies, interfaces, and practices that will evolve.
All developments take place on land, and the Renwed Hope Agenda would get a huge boost if we could effectively implement laws and procedures that make it easy to administer and manage property throughout our nation.
In his closing remarks, he made a plea to all interested parties and stakeholders to help the ongoing effort by providing them with ideas, information, data, and other resources that will help deliver high-quality documents for socioeconomic recovery and overall wellbeing to perform creditably.
