President Bola Tinubu has instructed the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to immediately begin construction of two 300-capacity hostels for the Nigerian Law School in Abuja. Tinubu also directed the construction of a road linking the Body of Benchers’ Secretariat, Jabi District, with Nile University.

Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the FCT Minister, stated that the projects would be executed under emergency consideration. The construction includes a female hostel and a male hostel at the Nigerian Law School to provide accommodation for students.

The new road aims to ease traffic congestion on the road leading to the head office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), while providing easier access to the Body of Benchers Secretariat and Nile University.
