This represents the 1st major intervention in housing development in the past decades.

As housing is a vital tool for economic development, the programm will create enormous employment for the citizens of the country and not only providing shelter for the masses but creating a source of livelihood for the people. Beneficiaries of this housing scheme are those in the lower financial income bracket who are in dare need of a decent and comfortable home.
We commend the unveiling of this programme by the FHFL Management in building a Model 1 and 2-bedroom home ‘to meet the target pricing of the NSHP’.
/The model will enable the participating stakeholders to have firsthand view of the scheme.
REDAN commends FHFL for her interest in projecting a course of collaboration with relevant stakeholders in the provision of affordable housing. They are our strong allies in the REDAN Rural-Urban Housing Initiative to build at least 100 housing units in each of the 774 Local Government of Nigeria including the FCT where viable and feasible to enable Nigerians own homes in places of their choice.
REDAN calls on the government to initiate policies that will create an enabling environment for us to collectively increase the stock of housing and notably reduce the housing deficit.
