The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr. Nyesom Wike, has announced that part of the proposed N1.78 trillion statutory budget for 2025 will be used to complete 14 ongoing road projects across Abuja.
Wike made this disclosure during his appearance before the Senate and House of Representatives Committees on the FCT, where he defended the budget on Wednesday in Abuja.
According to the minister, the selected road projects span both the city centre and satellite towns and will be executed by the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) and the Satellite Towns Development Department (STDD).
He emphasized the administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure and easing transportation within the FCT through timely completion of ongoing projects.
