FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has refuted allegations that he allocated 2,082 hectares of land in Abuja’s Maitama and Asokoro districts to his son. Wike, through his media aide, dismissed the reports as false, stating that none of his children have been allocated any land in the FCT.

He challenged the source of the allegations to provide evidence of any land allocation documents bearing the names of Wike’s children. He clarified that the Right of Occupancy (R-of-O) cited in the report was issued to JOAQ Farms and Estate Limited, a registered company, for agricultural purposes in the Bwari Area Council.

Wike’s aide accused the publishers of attempting to tarnish the Minister’s image and questioned the feasibility of allocating such a large area of land in Asokoro and Maitama.
