In a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary of the Zamfara state Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Alhaji Kabiru Yusuf, yesterday at the state capital, Gusau, the state authority has shut down the Urban and Regional Planning Board (ZUREP), and directed its staffers to report to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development for redeployment.
Yusuf said that the directive was in compliance with resolution No.31 of the state House of Assembly.
The short statement read ”the Commissioner, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Muktar Ahmad Darma to deploy all professional and non professional staff under the Board back to the Mother Ministry by Monday, 22nd August, 2022.”
It further directed all the affected members of staff to report to the office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry for onward redeployment.
