The Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) has uttered its keenness to join forces with dire stakeholders in the housing sector in directive to increase the nation’s housing standard to bolster the economic impact of COVID-19.
This was made known by the REDAN president, Alhaji Aliyu Oroji Wammako in Abuja.
He said that the 6th National Executive Council of the Association in attention of easing and cushioning the effect of COVID-19 for comprehensiveness has reduced the registration fees of both its new and old members.
Stating that, “the following relief packages have been stretched to both old and new members to cushion the effect of Covid-19. Instead of the normal N350,000 subscription fees for new members, a special concession of N200,000.00 (Two Hundred Thousand Naira) for new Members has been approved. This amount can be paid fully or in three (3) installments within three (3) months, while membership certificate will be issued after full payment. The full payment of N350,000 will be reverted from January 2021.“
He further specified that ‘’Old members who have arrears of Annual Subscription of upward of 2 years have been accorded a forbearance and are to pay current annual subscription of One Hundred Thousand Naira to become financial members’’.
This amount can be paid fully or in three (3) installments within three (3) months while membership certificate will be issued after full payment. Issuance of Membership Certificate will be done upon receipt of full payment. The regular N100,000.00 annual subscription to continue from January 2021.
Wammako said young graduates, professionals, students, interns and others that want to register with REDAN are to pay N50,000.00 in two (2) instalments within three (3) months, under the Probationary Membership status.
The REDAN President, has urged members to take advantage of this movement to register with the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN).
